Why do we exist?

The Latina Chamber was founded in Denver, Colorado in 2004 by a consortium of civic-minded Hispanic business leaders. The founding members envisioned creating a platform for all members of the Hispanic community to benefit through services and information designed specifically for “Serving Our Community”.

  1. Our community lacks adequate communication channels, spokespeople, and advocates for change.
  2. Those most in need lack awareness and access to resources available to assist them.
  3. Our businesses have distinct needs that can be better served by women, for women, working with existing chambers, non-profits, government and corporate entities.

“As leaders, we need to work together to effectively create solutionsto address the needs and concerns of our community.”

Mission

The Latina Chamber will serve as a catalyst for change in our Hispanic Community by serving as a clearinghouse, a communications channel, and an innovative center for commerce. These roles will enable members of our Community to attain levels of success and prominence not previously known, and serve to unite our community to make all of our lives better.

“We can provide the means for our small businesses, non-profits,Government entities, corporations, and individualsto work together to more effectively improve the lives of all.”
